Plans, slots and trials

Plan limits, what consumes an account slot, extra slots, and the trial's connection allowance.

A plan sets the number of trading accounts and repeaters available in Trepeat. Account slots measure accounts held at once; connection allowances separately limit new account additions.

Plan limits

  • Starter: 2 accounts included, 1 repeater, up to 4 accounts with extra slots.
  • Growth: 5 accounts included, 3 repeaters, up to 9 accounts with extra slots.
  • Scale: 10 accounts included, unlimited repeaters, no total account cap when extra slots are purchased.

MetaTrader and cTrader use the same account allowance. A mix of platforms does not create separate pools of slots. Both support demo accounts only.

What consumes a slot

Every account that is neither Archived nor deleted consumes one account slot, regardless of platform or connection status. A Standby or Disconnected account still counts. An Archived account does not consume an account slot.

Repeaters have a separate limit: Archived repeaters still consume a repeater slot. Archiving a repeater therefore does not make room for another repeater.

Buy extra account slots

When the included slots are full, the Add Account form offers an extra slot if the plan's total account cap allows it. Review the purchase confirmation for the charge. At the cap, upgrade the plan to add more accounts. Extra account slots do not increase the repeater limit.

The server enforces slot availability; the interface shows the same count. Each cTrader trading account added consumes one slot, even when several accounts share one cTrader ID.

Trial connection allowance

The free trial lasts 7 days. During the trial you can make up to 3 new broker-account connections — accounts you remove still count — and your plan's full allowance applies once the trial ends.

The account slot limit still applies during the trial. Removing an account can free a slot without restoring the allowance for new connections. The Add Account form shows the applicable connection allowance and any remaining additions.

Adding back an account you removed counts as a new connection. Your trades, journal entries and settings come back with it, but the connection itself is set up from scratch, so it uses one of your remaining additions exactly as a first-time account would. Removing an account and adding it again is not a way to reset the allowance.

Outside the trial, the form also shows the applicable rolling 30-day connection allowance. Removed accounts still count towards that allowance until their additions fall outside the period. For the connection steps, see connecting MetaTrader or connecting cTrader.
