How do I copy cTrader trades to an MT5 account?
Make the cTrader account the source account and the MT5 account a follower account on one repeater, check whether the MT5 account is hedging or netting, and press Run.
The follower's mode decides.A hedging MT5 follower repeats each position; a netting one merges same-symbol copies.
Exchange-mode accounts are refused. They cannot act as a follower, so Trepeat declines to add one.
A broker ceiling is reported. When the per-order maximum binds, the copy is placed at it and you see the size you asked for.
Different deposit currencies.Equity-ratio sizing falls back to your multiplier rather than inventing an exchange rate.
More about the cTrader to MT5 Trade Copier
A cTrader source account can drive MetaTrader 5 followers, and on this pairing the account worth inspecting is the follower. An MT5 account is hedging or netting, set when the broker created it, and there is a third mode — exchange — that cannot act as a follower at all, so Trepeat refuses it as a follower — at once if its mode is already known, otherwise the moment it first connects — rather than letting you discover it on a live trade. Names still need translating: US 500 and GERMANY 40 on the cTrader side, US500 and GER40 or #Germany40 on the MT5 side. Currently demo accounts only on both platforms: prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts usually run on demo accounts — MetaTrader demo servers, or a cTrader demo account where the firm issues one — which is what Trepeat connects. Live real-capital accounts aren't supported.
- The follower's mode decides the shape
- On a hedging MT5 follower each copy is its own position and the copy is exact. On a netting one the broker keeps a single net position per symbol, so the second copy on that symbol merges into the first and one source position stops corresponding to one follower position — Trepeat alerts you at that moment, naming the symbol and the repeater. An exchange-mode account is refused as a follower: at once if its mode is already known, otherwise the moment it first connects.
- Spaces translated to MetaTrader names
- Your cTrader source lists US 500, US TECH 100, GERMANY 40 and JAPAN 225; your MT5 broker lists US500, USTEC, GER40 or #Germany40, frequently with its own suffix on top. A repeater-level symbol remap translates the name before each fill is submitted, and Trepeat proposes the match when you create the remapping instead of guessing at fill time.
- Snapped to the MT5 follower's step, capped by its ceiling
- Each MT5 symbol carries its own minimum, step and per-order maximum, and Trepeat reads them from the follower's broker. A copy is snapped to the step, skipped if it falls under the minimum, and when the broker's own ceiling actually binds the order is placed at that ceiling and you are told the size your settings had asked for — so an under-exposed follower is never silent.
- Deposit currency matters for equity-ratio sizing
- Equity-ratio sizing divides the follower's equity by the source's, which only means something when both are in the same currency — EUR 1,000 against USD 199,735 is not the ratio it looks like. When the two accounts report different known currencies Trepeat falls back to your multiplier rather than inventing an exchange rate on a risk control.
- Built for evaluation + funded accounts
- Prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts usually run on demo accounts — MetaTrader demo servers, or a cTrader demo account where the firm issues one — which is exactly what Trepeat currently connects. Run your evaluations and funded accounts side by side, each repeater with its own sizing and symbol rules. A challenge placed on a live account can't be connected either way. We don't share data with prop firms or read their evaluation rules.

Any platform to any platform. Mix MT4, MT5 and cTrader followers under one source.
Sized and matched per account. Lots follow each account's equity or your multiplier; broker symbol names are remapped once.
Maximum lot per order. One cap per repeater: no single copy is bigger than you allow.
Alerts that reach you. In-app for every event; email when an account stays disconnected or copies keep failing.
Live P&L and journal. Every account's results in one place, with notes on each setup.
Closes checked. A follower that misses a close while offline raises an alert on reconnect. Flatten closes the source trade and every copy of it. Trades Trepeat isn't copying are never touched.

Fast, always on, out of your way.
The engine runs around the clock in the cloud, so your PC can be off and your phone is all you need.
Real time
Pushed, not polled
Fills reach Trepeat over a live stream from each broker connection, and the order goes to every follower as soon as the fill arrives. Each follower's broker still sets its own execution time.

Uptime probes
The site and app are checked every 30 seconds from several AWS regions, and the engine is watched by alarms around the clock.
Broker passwords encrypted
Kept in an encrypted vault and never sent to your browser. cTrader connects through its official sign-in, so Trepeat never sees that password at all.
Only copied trades are touched

cTrader to MT5 Trade Copier — common questions
Can I copy trades from cTrader to MT5?
Yes, and in either direction. A cTrader source can drive MT5 followers and an MT5 source can drive cTrader followers, with both platforms mixed among one repeater's followers if you want.
My MT5 follower is a netting account — what happens?
Copying runs, and while the strategy holds one position per symbol it behaves exactly like a hedging follower. The divergence starts at the second position in the same symbol, where the broker merges what your source holds separately. Trepeat raises an alert the moment a copy is about to stack, naming the symbol and the repeater so you can decide what to do about it.
What is an exchange-mode MT5 account, and why can't it be a follower?
Exchange mode is the equities-style account model, and its instrument set is not the one a CFD strategy trades. Trepeat is hedging-native and refuses an exchange account as a follower — at once if its mode is already known, otherwise the moment it first connects — which is a clearer answer than accepting it and mis-copying.
Do the source and follower need the same deposit currency?
Only if you use equity-ratio sizing, and even then Trepeat handles the mismatch rather than getting it wrong: when both accounts report a known currency and the two differ, it falls back to your fixed multiplier instead of dividing two numbers in different units. A fixed multiplier is unaffected either way.
