How do I copy trades between two cTrader accounts?

Add both accounts by signing in with your cTrader ID, make one the source account and the other a follower account, and press Run.

  • Names usually match already. Both brokers spell indices with spaces, so many symbols need no remap at all.

  • Hedged or Netted is the variable.A netted follower stops repeating position for position from the second copy on a symbol.

  • Both accounts under one cTrader ID.One authorisation can surface the source and its followers together.

  • Units per lot can differ. Each follower symbol's minimum, step and maximum are read from its broker and applied.

Two cTrader accounts can also meet through cTrader's own copy feature, which works differently — see cTrader Copy compared with copying between your own accounts.

More about the cTrader to cTrader Trade Copier

Two cTrader accounts are the easiest pairing to name. Both brokers follow the same convention, so the indices you trade are spelled the same way on each — US 500, GERMANY 40, JAPAN 225 — and a plain match usually works without a remap at all. Cross-broker differences don't vanish: the two lists can still diverge on decorations, on instruments one broker carries and the other doesn't, and on how many units make a lot. But the thing that actually breaks a copy here is account mode. A cTrader account is Hedged or Netted, decided when the broker created it, and a netted follower stops repeating position for position at the second copy on a symbol. Currently demo accounts only: prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts usually run on demo accounts, and where the firm issues yours as a cTrader demo account, that is what Trepeat connects. Live real-capital accounts aren't supported.

One convention, both sides
cTrader brokers spell index CFDs with spaces — US 500, US TECH 100, GERMANY 40, JAPAN 225 — so two cTrader accounts usually agree on the string without any translation, which is exactly where a MetaTrader pairing needs the most work. Symbol remapping is still there per repeater for the instruments where two brokers do diverge.
Hedged or Netted is the real variable
cTrader labels each account on its authorisation screen. Trepeat tracks one follower position per source position, so a Hedged follower repeats the source exactly; a Netted one merges same-symbol positions and diverges from the second copy onward. The alert fires at the moment a copy is about to stack on a symbol that follower already holds, which is the point at which its exposure stops matching the source.
One sign-in can cover both accounts
A single cTrader ID often holds several trading accounts, so one authorisation can surface both your source and your followers. You tick the accounts to authorise on cTrader's own site and then choose which to add here. An account created after that authorisation isn't included in it — add a cTrader account again from Accounts, sign in with your cTrader ID, and tick the new one.
Volume still belongs to each broker
cTrader expresses volume in units of the instrument, and how many units make a lot is a per-symbol figure that two brokers can set differently on the same instrument. Trepeat reads each follower symbol's own minimum, step and maximum and snaps the copy to them, skipping anything below the minimum rather than submitting an order that would be refused.
Built for evaluation + funded accounts
Prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts usually run on demo accounts — MetaTrader demo servers, or a cTrader demo account where the firm issues one — which is exactly what Trepeat currently connects. Run your evaluations and funded accounts side by side, each repeater with its own sizing and symbol rules. A challenge placed on a live account can't be connected either way. We don't share data with prop firms or read their evaluation rules.

What each number means

Any platform to any platform. Mix MT4, MT5 and cTrader followers under one source.

Sized and matched per account. Lots follow each account's equity or your multiplier; broker symbol names are remapped once.

Maximum lot per order. One cap per repeater: no single copy is bigger than you allow.

Alerts that reach you. In-app for every event; email when an account stays disconnected or copies keep failing.

Live P&L and journal. Every account's results in one place, with notes on each setup.

Closes checked. A follower that misses a close while offline raises an alert on reconnect. Flatten closes the source trade and every copy of it. Trades Trepeat isn't copying are never touched.

Fast, always on, out of your way.

The engine runs around the clock in the cloud, so your PC can be off and your phone is all you need.

Real time

Pushed, not polled

Fills reach Trepeat over a live stream from each broker connection, and the order goes to every follower as soon as the fill arrives. Each follower's broker still sets its own execution time.

24/7

Always-on engine

Runs on AWS, not your computer. No VPS to rent, no EA to install.

30 s

Uptime probes

The site and app are checked every 30 seconds from several AWS regions, and the engine is watched by alarms around the clock.

Broker passwords encrypted

Kept in an encrypted vault and never sent to your browser. cTrader connects through its official sign-in, so Trepeat never sees that password at all.

Only copied trades are touched

Flatten closes the source trade and every copy of it. Trades Trepeat isn't copying are never touched.

cTrader to cTrader Trade Copier — common questions

Do I still need symbol remapping between two cTrader brokers?

Often not, because both brokers follow the same naming convention and the strings match outright. You still want to compare the two symbol lists for the instruments you actually trade: one broker may decorate a name, or simply not carry an instrument the other does, and a symbol allowlist is the clean way to keep those trades out rather than watching them fail.

Both accounts are on one cTrader ID — is that a problem?

No. One cTrader ID commonly covers several trading accounts, and a single authorisation can surface both the source and its followers. Each account you add counts as one of your paid accounts, exactly as it would if the accounts sat under separate sign-ins.

One of my cTrader accounts is Netted. Can it still be a follower?

Yes, with a boundary worth knowing. The first copy on a symbol lands exactly as expected; the second merges into it, because a netted account keeps one net position per symbol. If your strategy only ever holds one position per symbol you will not notice, and if it scales in the two accounts diverge immediately. Trepeat alerts you at the point that happens.

I made a new cTrader demo account and it isn't listed.

An authorisation covers only the accounts you ticked when you granted it, so anything created afterwards is outside it. Add a cTrader account again from Accounts, sign in with your cTrader ID, and tick the new account, and it appears in the list to add.

Can a cTrader account copy to MetaTrader as well?

Yes. One repeater's followers can sit on cTrader, MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 in any mix, each sized by that repeater's rules and with its own symbol remapping where the brokers disagree on a name.
