Activity logs
The record of what happened to your accounts and repeaters, and how to read and filter it.
The Logs page is an append-only record of what has happened to your accounts and your repeaters: connections opening and closing, settings changing, sweeps running. It is a history of actions, not of trades and not of faults. Copied trades are on Trades; anything needing your attention is an alert.
How to read it
Entries run oldest at the top, newest at the bottom, and the page opens scrolled to the bottom — the most recent entry is the one you land on. Each line carries its time, the account or repeater it belongs to in square brackets, and what happened.
A robot icon means Trepeat wrote that entry by itself — a background sweep, an automatic teardown after the last repeater stopped. An entry with no icon was the result of something you did. Both are recorded the same way; the icon exists so you can tell your own actions from the system's when reconstructing a sequence.
New entries appear as they happen, without reloading. The name in brackets is resolved when the line is drawn, not when it was written, so renaming a repeater updates its past entries too.
One save can write several lines
A repeater entry records each field that changed, one line per field. Saving a settings sheet that altered the multiplier and the symbol allowlist produces two entries at the same timestamp, not one. This is deliberate — it makes a single change searchable on its own.
Loading older history
Entries are fetched a hundred at a time from each of the two trails. Scrolling to the top loads the next batch older than what you have, keeping your reading position. When there is nothing older, the top of the list reads Beginning of log history. The page holds up to a thousand entries in view at once; to go further back than that, narrow the date range instead of scrolling.
Filters
- Search — matches the message text and the account or repeater name.
- Date range — limits entries to a recent window.
- All Days — days of the week.
- All Sources — the accounts and repeaters the entries belong to.
The two popovers hide rather than show. Every box starts ticked, meaning everything is visible; clearing a box hides that day or that source. The label counts what you have hidden, and Show all puts everything back. This is worth knowing before you conclude an entry is missing.
Filter state lives in the page address, so a filtered view can be bookmarked, reloaded or sent to support and will reproduce exactly. Clear filters removes all of it at once.
What is not here
- Every entry is informational. Failures are not recorded here as errors — a failed connection raises an alert and leaves the reason on the account row, which is described under account statuses.
- Individual copied orders are not logged here. Each copy is a row on Trades with its own status and, when it failed, its own reason.
- Sign-ins, two-factor changes and session activity are kept separately, under Settings.
