What a Trade Copier Costs: Three Ways to Pay, Worked Out

What Trepeat's price includes, what a trade copier costs a month for 2, 5 and 10 accounts each way it bills, and what a lower price can leave out.

Trepeat is $15 per account per month, tax included, and that price covers the whole copier. It runs in the cloud, so nothing is installed on your computer and there is no VPS to rent; MetaTrader and cTrader accounts copy to each other from one place; and every feature is included, alerts and a trade journal among them. Below, what that comes to for 2, 5 and 10 accounts, beside the other two ways copiers bill.

What Trepeat's price includes

  • Nothing on your computer. No EA, no plugin and no VPS: Trepeat runs on its own servers and keeps copying whether or not your computer is on.
  • MetaTrader and cTrader in one place. MT4, MT5 and cTrader accounts copy to each other in any direction, at the same price per account on each platform.
  • Every feature. All of them are included and repeaters are unlimited: what you pay for is the number of accounts.
  • Alerts. A failed or skipped copy stays on the Trades page with its reason and raises an alert naming the symbol and the follower account; a copy that keeps failing is also emailed.
  • A trade journal. Your own record of each closed trade: Trepeat fills in the facts, and you add what you intended and how it went.

What Trepeat costs

$15 per account per month, or $165 a year, tax included. Every account counts, the source account too, so the smallest bill is 2 accounts: $30 a month.

The free trial is 1 week on up to 3 cTrader accounts. Trepeat currently connects demo accounts only, the type prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts usually run on. Pricing and the free trial has the exact terms.

Flat fee or tier$20$60$120
Your own software, with a VPS$25–40$50–80$80+

Billed yearly, Trepeat is $165 per account a year, which works out at $13.75 a month.

The flat-fee row is one tiered copier's monthly prices. The own-software row is about what a Windows VPS plan sized for that many terminals, one per account, costs a month at two providers (for 10 accounts neither sells one plan that size, so it takes two), plus the software itself: a free EA, or a one-time licence of about $50 for each platform. All are from prices we read on 17 October 2026. Prices change, so check each tool's own page; Compare shows how each copier bills.

On these figures a tier costs less than Trepeat at 2, 5 and 10 accounts, and your own software on a VPS can cost less too. Here is what those totals leave out.

What the cheaper options leave out

  • A computer that stays on. Software you run copies only while its terminals are open, so a computer of yours stays on or you pay for the VPS in the row above.
  • Your time. Installing, updating and restarting it is yours to do.
  • More than one platform. Copying between MetaTrader and cTrader with installed software needs both on one machine, and some licences are sold one platform at a time.
  • The account after the limit. A tier's price holds up to its limit; one more account moves you up to the next tier.
  • Hearing about a failed copy. Check whether the tool tells you, or whether you find out from the account.

Trepeat's price covers each of these: nothing to keep running or update, MetaTrader and cTrader in one place, one more account for the price of one more account, and an alert when a copy fails.

What a Trade Copier Costs — common questions

How much does a trade copier cost a month?

It depends on how it bills. A per-account copier grows with each account: Trepeat is $15 per account per month, $30 for 2 accounts, with every feature included and nothing to run on your own computer. A flat fee stays the same up to its limit, and your own software costs the VPS that keeps it running.

Do I need a VPS to copy trades?

Only for software you run yourself, which copies while its terminals are open; a VPS keeps them on, typically for a few tens of dollars a month. A cloud copier needs none: Trepeat runs on its own servers whether or not your computer is on.

Is a flat-fee copier cheaper than paying per account?

It can be. On the prices we read, one tiered copier cost less than paying per account at 2, 5 and 10 accounts. Paying per account means you pay only for the accounts you add, and one more account costs one more account, not the next tier.

Does Trepeat charge for the source account?

Yes. Every account counts, the source account too, so the smallest bill is 2 accounts: $30 a month, or $330 a year.
