FX Replay has a free Beginner plan and two paid ones, Intermediate at $15 a month and Pro at $29.16 a month, both billed yearly. Paying month by month costs more. Below are the plans, every limit and the sums behind the prices. Prices and limits change, so check the pricing page before you decide.
The plans and what they cost
| Plan | Shown per month (yearly billing) | Yearly total | Monthly billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beginner | Free | Free | Free |
| Intermediate | $15.00 | $180 | $17.99 |
| Pro | $29.16 | $350 | $35.00 |
Prices are in US dollars, and taxes may apply. The free plan needs no credit card, has no trial period and does not convert to a paid plan on its own.
The sums behind the prices
- Intermediate: twelve months at the monthly price is 12 × $17.99 = $215.88, which is $35.88 more than the yearly total.
- Pro: twelve months at the monthly price is 12 × $35.00 = $420.00, which is $70.00 more than the yearly total.

What is not stated
- Where the data comes from. It is described as “real historical price data”, with no provider named. History goes back to 2012 for major futures contracts and 2003 for major forex pairs.
- Trial length. Intermediate and Pro offer a free trial with no credit card to start. The length is not given.
- How orders are filled in replay. Fills are not described. What that means for a result is in bar replay against tick data.
Other tools, for comparison
Other replay tools and the testers built into trading platforms are set out, with their own prices, in backtesting software compared. TradingView also has a replay mode, and its depth limits are in TradingView Bar Replay limits.
Trepeat today
Trepeat does not sell a replay tool, so there is nothing of ours to set beside FX Replay.
We're working on a free journal and a backtester, with no date yet. Today Trepeat is a trade copier for MT4, MT5 and cTrader, currently on demo accounts, and you can add notes, a grade and screenshots to any copied trade once it closes, with a calendar of your results.
